- Teachers get $100\year and LEEP is not included at this time
- Eren made a motion to vote on adding them

- 2 City Engineers showed up at the last meeting
- Cameron is working on creating maps for bike\walk for one mile radius
- Goal is to have it ready by beginning of next year
- Completed 105 surveys.
- Kim is pushing them through where the data is entered into a nationwide database.
- 4 pages of comments that will be mapped to show specific problems
- Action Plan for the mini grant is due 9/30

- Budget Presented=total balance is $17,103.47. Projected=$16,931.39
Principal’s Time: Dr. Karon Webster
- Working with the district to add speed bumps to parking lot and extending drop off zone
- Karon to work with bus drivers to move during drop off
- Need volunteers to help with drop off monitoring

New Business:
- Siobhan O’Malley–Family Resource Coordinator from Metropolitan Family Service
- Joe Krumm–School Bond Presentation
- Last bond built the current school.
- State Funds are distributed based on enrollment while Capital bonds are based on votes and goes right back into our school
- State Funds bring in extra teachers
- Major Issues to address:
- Renovate/remodel school as old as 90 years old
- Address security, safety, earthquake prep
- Locks will be added to the inside of classroom doors
- Add more cameras
- More fencing
- Security readers
- Address unfunded maintenance
- Overcrowding
- Will help with more space but not more teachers
- 4th possible high school
- Add classrooms where needed

- Milwaukie High School–needs replaced or remodeled. –$64 Million
- Athletic projects for both softball and baseball

- Neighborhood Public Safety Advisory Committee (PSAC)
- Looking to create a peds and bikes safety plan–making it safe for our children coming to and from school.
- First–form a school team
- 2nd–mapping and collecting data from parents and school
- Student tally and Parent survey.
- City will keep on file
- School Team should include: Principal, Parent that has endorsement of the PTO, School Staff Facilitator, will work with City\or Safety Committee
- Lynwood has an action plan that is available for review

- People park in the drop off zone so there is no flow and kids are crossing through traffic.

- Main goal is for environment
