Thank you for volunteering at Ardenwald Elementary School. Volunteers are so important and we appreciate your time in support of our school and kids!

New volunteer?
ALL volunteers must complete a Volunteer Application Form and submit it to the school office to be kept on file. This allows you to be entered into the volunteer tracking system and assist you in case of a medical emergency.

Community volunteer (an adult with no children in the North Clackamas District Schools) or chaperoning/driving for a field trip? A background check through the district is REQUIRED. Please complete a Criminal History Form and submit to the school office. Background checks must be renewed every 3 years.

Volunteering in the school? ALL volunteers must sign-in to our volunteer tracking system, Help Counter, using the volunteer computer located in the school office. It is very important that you sign-in and out each time you volunteer so volunteer hours can be accurately reported to the district. Additionally, signing-in is a requirement to be eligible for coverage under the district liability insurance policy in the unfortunate event of an injury. Furthermore, signing-in allows staff to be aware of who is in the building in case of an emergency.

Volunteer ID? ALL volunteers must wear a volunteer ID badge when signed-in. These are located next to the volunteer computer in the school office. Please wear the volunteer ID badge in a prominent place that is visible to school staff.

Volunteering after school hours or from home? Attending PTO or site council/advisory committee meetings, assisting with PTO/school events, preparing paperwork or decorations at home are just some of the ways your additional volunteer time counts! You can track your time a couple of ways:

  1. SIGN-IN FROM HOME AT www.helpcounterweb.com/ci/volunteer AND CREATE OR UPDATE YOUR VOLUNTEER PROFILE AS WELL AS SEARCH AND SIGN-UP FOR VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES!
  2. Complete a Volunteer Time Sheet and turn it in monthly to the PTO volunteer coordinator or school office.
